The Centriq Group Appoints New Group Sales Director

The Centriq Group are pleased to announce that on 13th September 2010 Anton du Preez was appointed Group Sales Director. The appointment strengthens the Group’s Board of Directors and further supports the Centriq Group’s strategy for organic and acquisitive growth on an international level.
Anton has a wealth of experience in the IT supply chain and logistics sector, with his most recent role being the Business Development Manager, UK, Ireland and South Africa at Vocollect Europe. He played a key role in developing new and existing markets, building the customer base of Vocollect Voice users through Vocollect’s network of certified resellers and supply chain experts.
Anton began his career in South Africa as a software engineer and progressed into technical management. He grew and managed a successful software development department at RangeGate Mobile Solutions focusing mainly on wireless mobile applications and supply chain markets, which led to his appointment to the Board.

Under the Centriq Group, the expertise of market leaders Voiteq Ltd. and Cirrus Logistics Ltd. was combined in 2009. Voiteq provides IT solutions to the retail, distribution and logistics industry and is the UK’s leading provider of voice solutions. Cirrus Logistics specialises in software modelling and simulation, via their CLASS solution for warehouses and their SEABEARTH product for port berth management. The Group already serves customers in the Far East, Middle East, Europe and the UK, with further geographic expansion planned.
